We are MEG Derby, part of the MEG beverage network. We produce a wide range of water products and soft drinks specifically for the British market. Our plant in Great Britain is the first international site of Schwarz Produktion.

At our plant in Foston, just outside Derby, we have been producing beverages for Lidl in Great Britain since 2023. We belong to the MEG network, which ranks as one of the leading producers of alcohol-free beverages in Germany. At our plant in Derby, we produce a huge volume of high-quality beverages aimed specifically at the British market. Around 90 committed employees work here, and they all play their part in our success.

Alongside our outstanding quality and food safety standards, we also have a keen focus on the environment. Our beverage bottles therefore consist of 30 percent recycled material.

We stand out from the crowd with our wide range of high-quality beverages. Our trading partner Lidl really appreciates this. We deliver our products to their stores throughout Great Britain.

Our main goal is to ensure consistently high quality standards in our beverages and to promote the well-being of our consumers. This applies both to our water products and to our soft drinks. We bottle beverages for the brands “Carrick Glen”, “Freeway” and “Simply” for Lidl.

MEG DERBY

Our beverage plant in Foston, just outside Derby, is the first overseas production site of both MEG and Schwarz Produktion. Here at this facility, around 90 employees work on four high-performance plants to produce water products and soft drinks specifically aimed at the British market.
