OUR WATER IS REFRESHINGLY VARIED

Our water products are both high in quality and deliciously refreshing. In addition to natural mineral water, which is also produced by the MEG beverage plants in Germany, we also produce spring water in Derby.

OUR WATER RANGE

We bottle our water for the brands “Carrick Glen” and “Simply” for Lidl GB. These are produced in 0.5-litre and 2-litre bottles and come in both still and sparkling varieties. We source our “Carrick Glen” mineral water from our two springs in Derby.

The Composition of our Water in Derby

The respective source of our spring and mineral water products is always clearly indicated on the label. The mineralisation process differs depending on the geological nature of the spring locations and the natural source of the springs. Our spring and mineral waters are high in quality and deliciously refreshing.

DID YOU KNOW …?

Mineral water is a natural product. It originates from underground water resources, which are protected against impurities. Strict criteria must be met in order for water to be labelled as “mineral water”: it must come from an officially recognised source and be characterised by its original purity. Furthermore, there are only a few authorised treatment processes. Mineral water must also be bottled directly at the source. This also applies to spring water.

This also comes from underground water resources and is extracted from natural or bore exits. Unlike mineral water, however, it does not require official recognition. However, the microbiological status must be verified when registering spring water.
